Last week, the Training Institute on Migration Capacity Partnership for the Mediterranean, had the pleasure of hosting the reception event titled “Professionalisation Drives Migration Capacity Partnerships” in Amman, Jordan 🇯🇴, following the 4th Governing Board of the Training Institute.
Opened by H.E. Mr. Mazin Abdellah Hilal Al Farrayeh, Minister of Interior of Jordan, and International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD)’s very own Mr. Abbad Lamine, Head of Office for Jordan and Lebanon, to discuss the Training Institute’s illustration of the co-creation approach with partners. The concept of Migration Capacity Partnerships was presented, highlighting how through the notion of joint leadership and shared responsibility, we are able to foster synergies and adopt a capacity-driven approach to partnerships. Followed by a presentation of the training institute’s purpose, vision and achievements over the past two years and for the future. Through the professionalisation of stakeholders and establishing mutually acknowledged industry stances, as well as supporting the joint mobilisation of capacities, we are able to drive and elevate migration capacity partnerships.
