About Course

The programme aims to equip learners with essential knowledge and practical skills to improve their Emotional Intelligence as a life skill. It is designed to be of an interactive, learned-centred nature incorporating a variety of exercises, case studies, and self-assessments. Learners will be encouraged to ask questions and actively engage in group discussions, fostering the consolidation of their learning.

Attendance:
A full mark implies uninterrupted attendance through the full course of studies.

Weight: 5 points

Formative Assessment:
Formative assessment techniques will encompass both individual and group-based approaches. Learners will be expected to participate throughout the duration of the course in group discussions, Q&A sessions, practical exercises, small group work and plenary wrap-ups.

Weight: 35 points

Final examination:
The final examination was developed specifically for the Emotional Intelligence Essentials course and includes three sections:

Section 1: Multiple choice answer questions (15 questions)
Section 2: Brief written responses – free narrative text (5 questions)
Section 3: True or False questions (5 questions)

Candidates will be required to answer all sections. The examination aims to test learners’ theoretical knowledge only.
