About Course

This programme aims to offer a comprehensive, foundational understanding of Trafficking in Human Beings (THB) and some of the practical skills needed to effectively combat it, as well as to offer victims adequate assistance and protection measures. Learners will acquire the ability to recognise potential cases of trafficking, identify THB indicators, understand the relevant legal frameworks, and apply victim-centred approaches to ensure the safety, well-being, and rights of victims. Additionally, the course will explore some of the techniques and tools used to identify and support potential victims and to collaborate with key stakeholders.

Attendance:
A full mark implies uninterrupted attendance through the full course of studies.

Weight: 5 points

Formative Assessment:
Trainees will be expected to participate throughout the course in plenary or group discussions and with interactive activities such as case study work or role play and Q&A sessions.

Weight: 35 points

Final examination:
Trainees will be required to answer a list of questions (free narrative text answers) on the contents of the course.
The examination aims to test participants’ theoretical knowledge only.

Candidates are required to answer both sections. The examination aims to test learners’ theoretical knowledge only.

The passing grade for successful completion of programme: 60/100
