The Training Institute on Migration Capacity Partnership for the Mediterranean (MCP Med TI) organised a Vocational Train the Trainers (VTT) course from 12 to 16 May 2025 in Malta, bringing together participants from Tunisia 🇹🇳 representing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Employment and Vocational Training, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Social Affairs, and the Directorate General of Customs—all essential actors in Tunisia’s migration governance ecosystem.
💡 The VTT course plays a pivotal role in advancing institutional effectiveness. By equipping national professionals with the skills to design and deliver high-quality training, it supports local ownership of expertise, reinforces institutional resilience, and fosters long-term, needs-driven capacity development.
✨Throughout the week, participants demonstrated exceptional engagement and collaboration. They approached each exercise with enthusiasm and creativity, actively shared insights drawn from their institutional experience, and supported one another in an open and constructive learning environment. Their commitment, openness, and evident growth over the course of the training were a true highlight of the programme.
Delivered through a participatory and peer-based methodology, the course reflects our shared commitment to regional cooperation, sustainable knowledge transfer, and inclusive governance.
