From 22 to 26 September 2025, the Training Institute on Migration Capacity Partnership for the Mediterranean (MCP Med TI), in partnership with the Regional Migration Governance Programme (RMGP) Tunisia Component, implemented by ICMPD in Tunisia, delivered the Induction Course for the Vocational Training of Trainers (VTT) in Tunis, Tunisia.
The training welcomed 16 participants from Tunisia’s Ministry of Interior, represented by its integrated border management agencies as well as the General Directorate of Customs under the Ministry of Finance.
This induction was more than a course. It represents an investment in sustainability: preparing future trainers who can deliver MCP Med TI’s accredited VTT track nationally and, over time, across the Mediterranean region. By mastering the Training Institute’s standards, policies, and delivery tools, participants are now equipped to embed knowledge within their institutions, multiplying its impact and ensuring long-term ownership.
👏 Our gratitude goes to our colleagues at ICMPD in Tunisia for their excellent coordination, to our Authorised Trainer for delivering the course with excellence, and to the participants whose commitment strengthens both national ownership and regional professionalisation.
👉 Follow hashtag#TIinMotion as we continue to expand our network of authorised trainers, driving forward professionalisation, sustainable capacity development, and institutional ownership across the Mediterranean.
