Today in Valletta, the Training Institute on Migration Capacity Partnership for the Mediterranean kicked off a powerful week of regional learning, bringing together institutions from Jordan 🇯🇴, Lebanon 🇱🇧, and Tunisia 🇹🇳 under one shared Mediterranean space.
Across the MCP Med TI and the ICMPD Mediterranean Regional Office, participants began the Award in Vocational Training of Trainers (two cohorts) 🎓 and the Award in Migration Policy Development Essentials 📘
Delivered jointly with #MIDAM III – Enhancing Jordan’s Capacities in Implementing Evidence-Based Migration Policies funded by Denmark, #CBC –Support to Cross-Border Cooperation and Integrated Border Management in North Africa and #BMT – Strengthening the Tunisian Coast Guard Training Pillar funded by the European Union, and in the framework of the Regional Migration Governance Programme (#RMGP) funded by Denmark and Malta, this week showcases how Migration Capacity Partnerships come to life — enabling countries to learn together, co-develop skills, and strengthen capacities across the Mediterranean 🤝.
When trainers and trainees from the region work side by side, we see Mediterranean cooperation in action — turning shared challenges into shared solutions 🌟.
Three countries. Three courses. One #MED purpose.
More to come in our wrap-up at the end of the week ✨
